Guwahati, Oct 2: Krishak Mukti Sangram Samiti (KMSS) today announced new political party ‘Raijor Dal’ at a meeting in Guwahati, ahead of the upcoming Assam assembly elections in 2021.

The new political party will be headed by peasant leader Akhil Gogoi

The new party will have the support of at least 70 ethnic organizations, as per the sources.

The event was attended by film director Jahnu Barua, Lachit Sena leader Srinkhal Chaliha, besides KMSS leaders and members.
