Himanta lays foundation stone of Sister Nivedita academic block

Guwahati, Oct 28: Assam Finance Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma laid the foundation stone of Sister Nivedita Academic Block and Dr Bhupen Hazarika Puthi Bharal at Vivekanand Kendra Vidyalaya in Sadiya today.

‘Today in Sadiya, laid foundation stone of Sister Nivedita Academic Block & Dr Bhupen Hazarika Puthi Bharal at Vivekanand Kendra Vidyalaya. Committed to make a contribution of Rs 10 lakh towards infra development on behalf of GoA,’ Himanta tweeted.

MP Pradan Baruah and MLA Bolin Chetia were also present on the occasion.

Meanwhile, Himanta also laid the foundation stone of 8.50 km road worth rupees 9.99 cr from NH 37 to Missing Borgorah via Asomiya Borgorah Ghumtibill Road. It is a signature project of PWRD, under SOPD-G (2019-20) the Minister added.
