Young swimmer crosses Brahmaputra in just 27 minutes

Guwahati, Oct 28: A young swimmer Kamal Krishna Das crossed the mighty Brahmaputra in just 27 minutes on Monday.

Das, who hails from North Guwahati started from Kharghuli and reached Madhyam Khanda Ferry Ghat on the other bank in North Guwahati in only 27 minutes.

Earlier, Kamal Krishna Das received the National Bravery Award from President Ram Nath Kovind for he saved two women from drowning after a private ferry capsized at North Guwahati on September 5, in 2018.
