Guwahati, Feb 10: Nagaland chief minister Neiphiu Rio inaugurated the fully automated library and state-of-the-art training room of the Nagaland Legislative Assembly (NLA) in Kohima on Tuesday.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that a knowledge-based well structured, professionally organized library and information service could positively impact upon the quality of performance of the individual legislator as well as the collective body of the Assembly.
Rio also lauded Assembly Speaker, Sharingain Longkumer for taking the initiative to incorporate the new technology into the functioning of the Assembly library.
