Guwahati, Jan 8: The Ministry of Textile has assured all support to Tripura government to develope handloom clusters in the tiny Northeastern State.

Tripura Chief Minister, Biplab Kumar Deb today called on the Union Textile Minister, Smriti Zubeen Irani at the latter’s office in New Delhi to explore possibilities of development of the potent handloom and textile sector on Tripura through cluster approach.

“Had a wonderful discussion about the development of handloom & textile sector of #Tripura with @smritiirani ji today. Smriti Ji assured full support from  @TexMinIndia for development of Handloom Clusters which can contribute to PM  @narendramodi Ji's vision of #AtmaNirbharBharat,” tweeted the Chief Minister of Tripura.
