Deba Kumar Bhattacharyya passes away

Guwahati, Jan 16:  Deba Kumar Bhattacharyya, designated Senior Advocate and a doyen of Assam's legal fraternity, left today for his heavenly abode at a local nursing home, owing to old-age related ailments in Guwahati.He was 88 years old. 

Deba Kumar Bhattacharyya is survived by his wife, three children, and grandchildren. His passing away marks a remarkable loss for the fraternity, which has lost one of its most versatile and charismatic Senior Advocates. 

hattacharyya last rites will be conducted at the Nabagraha Crematorium around noon today.
