Guwahati, Jan 18: Union Youth Affairs and Sports Minister Kiren Rijiju today inaugurated the Khelo India State Center of Excellence in Pune. The centre will give free coaching to street children, mostly orphans and Tribal Boys and girls and children from North-East.
"Amazing efforts by India Khelega Center, Pune to give free coaching to street children, mostly orphans. Tribal Boys & girls and children from North-East are also trained here alongside top TT players like @manikabatra_TT
This center has been accredited under Khelo India program," Rijiju tweeted.
"The Khelo India State Center of Excellence in Pune was inaugurated by @KirenRijiju today. The Centre and States are working hand in hand to create a robust sports infrastructure network. 24 KISCE have been approved so far in various states. These will be sports excellence centers," Kiren Rijiju Office tweeted.
