Guwahati, Jan 21: Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma wished people of the state on the occasion of Meghalaya Day.

Conrad honoured the leader who helped in carving out the path for the creation of Meghalaya on the occasion.

Meghalaya attained statehood on January 21, 1972 under the North-Eastern Areas (Re-organisation) Act, 1971.
