Guwahati, Jan 21: Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh extended warm greetings to the people of the state on the occasion of Statehood Day today.

Manipur, Tripura and Meghalaya attained statehood on January 21, 1972 under the North-Eastern Areas (Re-organisation) Act, 1971.
