Manipur CM wishes people on Statehood Day

Guwahati, Jan 21: Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh extended warm greetings to the people of the state on the occasion of Statehood Day today.

Singh pledged to work together for the prosperity of the state on the occasion. ‘ Warmest greetings to the people of my State on the occasion of #StatehoodDay. Let us pledge to work together for peaceful co-existence, progress & prosperity of our beautiful State. May the State achieve zenith of development under the leadership of PM Shri Narendra Modi ji,’wrote in a tweet.

N Biren Singh also wished the people Tripura on Statehood Day.‘ On their Statehood Day, my warm greetings to our sisters and brothers of Tripura. Tripura, under the leadership of Shri Biplab ji, is reaching the height of progress in several sectors.May the state continue to achieve more development & prosperity.  Singh Tweeted.

Singh further wished the people of Meghalaya on Statehood day and tweeted, I extend my warmest greetings & wishes to the people of Meghalaya on their Statehood Day. Under the tireless & committed leadership of Shri Sangma Conrad ji, the state is achieving excellence & continuing to prosper.May the State be blessed with more prosperity & progress.’ 

Manipur, Tripura and Meghalaya attained statehood on January 21, 1972 under the North-Eastern Areas (Re-organisation) Act, 1971.
