Guwahati, Jan 21: Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb today extended warm greetings to the people of the state on the occasion of Statehood Day.

Biplab Deb took to Twitter saying, "I extend warm greetings to my beloved sisters & brothers on Statehood Day of our state.

@narendramodi ji.Together we shall strive to realise the hopes & aspirations of every citizen."

"Deeply grateful to Hon'ble PM Shri @narendramodi ji for heartiest wishes on the Statehood Day of #Tripura.
Under your visionary leadership, we are committed to working for the development of 37 lakh people of the state. #TripuraStatehoodDay," Biplab Deb tweeted.

Tripura, Manipur and Meghalaya attained statehood on January 21, 1972 under the North-Eastern Areas (Re-organisation) Act, 1971.
