Sonowal, Himanta mourn demise of prominent linguist and academic Dr. Ramesh Pathak

Guwahati, Jan 27: Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal and Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has mourned the demise of prominent linguist and academic Dr. Ramesh Pathak.

"Deeply saddened by the demise of Dr. Ramesh Pathakdev, a prominent linguist and academic. Extend my heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and wish them eternal peace of mind," roughly translated from Sonowal's tweet.

Renowned linguist, educationist and litterateur Sahityacharya Dr. Ramesh Pathak passed away on Tuesday.

Dr Ramesh Pathak's last rites  were performed at Navagraha crematorium ground in Guwahati.
