Republic Day parade: Tripura bags 2nd best tableau award

Guwahati, Jan 28:  In a proud moment for Tripura, the state has bagged the second best state tableau in this year`s Republic Day parade.

Depicting the message of "Vocal For Local", the tableaux of Tripura was an amalgamation of nature friendly livelihood and lifestyle of the state.

Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb took to Twitter saying, "Delighted to know that the magnificent tableaux of our beloved #Tripura that took part in the #RepublicDay parade has won the second prize.

Heartiest wishes to 37 lakh people of the state on this occasion.  Congratulations to all stakeholders who contributed to this achievement."
