City’s known book dealer passes away

Guwahati, Sept 20:  Owner of Western Book Depot in Panbazar here, Ramesh Kumar Virmani passed away on Sunday in a city hospital. He was a known face among book-lovers on not only Guwahati but also entire Assam as he has been in the business for decades.
All the book stores in Panbazar areas downed their shutters this afternoon as mark of respect to the departed soul.
