Vertex World- A learning platform for Assamese medium students

Guwahati, April 29,:Vertex World is an educational endeavour serving the needs of Assamese medium students. Started in 2021 by few enthusiastic young people from Assam, the features of Vertex World are available in its android application and it can be downloaded  from google play store.

The application covers the entire syllabus of class IX and X from SEBA board in video format. Each chapter from the textbook is explained in some short videos (typically in 15-20 minutes) by the teaching staff of Vertex World, accordomg to a Press release.

The application also provides question-answers and study notes for each chapter. The teachers provide personal monitoring to every student. Contents for the students of arts stream studying in class XI and XII are also available. Apart from educational videos, recently they started several skill based courses in their platform. Some of these courses are- guitar, classical dance, coding etc. All these are now available for free.

The most important advantage of the platform is its affordability. Students can learn an entire course in less than a thousand rupees, which is very less compared to offline tuition classes or any other big companies in the online education sector (like Byjus, Vedantu etc.). One of the founders of Vertex World says, "While we were surveying the needs of school students in lower Assam, we realized where the actual problem is. Most students in rural areas can not afford regular home tuitions, but almost all of their families have a smart phone. So the goal of our platform is to work as a bridge between quality teachers and those students at a very minimal price. After the pandemic, online education is booming like never before. We can not let our students fall behind. We are happy that several students already learning from our video classes expressed their great satisfaction." So Vertex World can be a good company for Assamese medium students in their learning process.
