BCPL declares dividend for the fiscal year 2021-22

Guwahati, September 23: Brahmaputra Cracker and Polymer Limited (BCPL) declared a dividend of 15 % on paid up equity share capital in the 15th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Company held on  September 23, 2022 in Guwahati. The total dividend payable is Rs. 212.65 crore.  M.V.Iyer, Chairman BCPL presided over the meeting through video conferencing from GAIL (India) Limited, New Delhi and it was attended by  Reep Hazarika, Managing Director ,  Pruthiviraj Dash, Director (Finance) and other members of the BCPL Board and shareholders of the company.

The company successfully and safely operated the plant on a sustained basis at 100.46 % capacity utilization producing 2.72 Lakh  MT of Polymers and 55,923 MT liquid hydrocarbons .The products were marketed to downstream industries achieving Polymer sales of 2.75 Lakh MT.
The authorized share capital of BCPL is Rs. 2000 crores and the paid-up capital is presently Rs.1417.67 crores. With a gross sales turnover of Rs. 3715.06 crores, the Company earned a net profit of Rs. 690.53 crores. An amount of Rs. 19.10 crore for the FY 2021-22 was earmarked for CSR activities. The market share of the Company is steadily increasing with growing credibility amongst customers.
