Mock exercise on earthquake held at Tezu

Dibrugarh, 17 November: A mock exercise on earthquake disaster was held at Tezu, Lohit District in Arunachal Pradesh.
Along with other districts, the District Administration of Lohit conducted the mock  exercise on Earth Quake disaster at Tezu, in Arunachal Pradesh on Thursday.

The District Secretariat Building block -A, Tezu Nala bridge, Zonal General Hospital Tezu, GUPS Tezu West-III, Kanchi Charali colony these five locations were identified for the excercise.

All the instructions received from NDMA and Department of Disaster Management GoAP were followed.

Along with all the district stake holders National agencies like Airport Authority, BRTF, armed forces, NHIDCL also actively took part in the event. A coordination meeting with NDMA,SDMA and DDMA was held on 9th November and a table top excercise was held on 15th November for conducting the said mock exercise on 17th November.
