Guwahati, Nov 13: Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal extended greetings to the people of the state on the occasion of Ayurveda Day. He also urged people to make Ayurveda a part of their daily lives and boost immunity to tide in these testing times.
‘Ayurveda, the ancient Indian system of medicine is a great mean to practise a healthy lifestyle. On National #AyurvedaDay, let's make Ayurveda a part of our daily lives and boost our immunity to tide these testing times,’ Sonowal tweeted.
The National Ayurveda Day is being celebrated every year from 2016 on the occassion of Dhanwantri Jayanti or Dhanteras. The theme of National Ayurveda Day 2020 is Ayurveda for COVID-19 pandemic.
