Attack on Freedom of Press against national interest: Vice-President

Guwahati, Nov 6: Vice-President M Venkaiah Naidu today stated that a vibrant democracy needs a free and fearless Press and any attack on the freedom of the Press is against the interest of the nation.
Taking to his twitter handle on the occasion of the National Press Day today, the Vice-President said, “Democracy cannot survive without a free and fearless Press. Any attack on the freedom of the press is detrimental to national interests and should be opposed by one and all.”
