Guwahati, Nov 20: Justice Ujjal Bhuyan of Bombay High Court inaugurated a ‘children’s corner’ at Rangia Police Station on the occasion of International Children’s Day today.
The programme was graced by Director General of Assam Police, Bhaskar Jyoti Mahanta, ADG (Administration), Harmeet Singh, Deputy Commissioner Kamrup, Superintendent of Police, Kamrup.
The Children’s Corner has been set up in collaboration with the Unicef and Bachpan Bachao Andolan.
The programme was held under the aegis of Assam Police’s novel initiative “Assam Police Shishu Mitra".
