World AIDS Day observed in Guwahati

Guwahati, Dec 1: World AIDS Day was observed in Guwahati today.

Nurses in the city took part in an awareness rally organized on the occasion of World Aids Day today.

Women bikers also took part in an AIDS awareness bike rally in the city today.  

World AIDS Day an international day observed every year on December 1, since 1988 for supporting people around the globe living with and affected by HIV and remembrance of those who have lost their battle with the disease.
