Dibrugarh, Dec 7: Indian Army in collaboration with Lions Club of Brahmaputra Valley and AMCH organised a 'Blood Donation Camp' at Dibrugarh today.
state-of-the-art model blood bank of AMCH facilitated successful conduct of the camp.
A total of 226 blood donors from Indian Army participated voluntarily in blood donation camp and a total of 141 blood units were collected. Previously highest collection by AMCH in a single camp was 116 units and this year’s highest collection was 89 units. Collection of 141 units in a single camp is record at Assam Medical College and Hospital, Dibrugarh till date.
An awareness speech on Blood Donation was also given by Dr Zarika Ahmed.
The Indian Army, team of AMCH blood Bank, Lions and Leo members of Brahmaputra Valley together contributed their best for the camp today.
