Nishita Goswami starts her early morning shoots with "tekeli pitha"

Guwahati, Dec 11: Assamese film atress Nishita Goswami loves "tekeli pitha" and so always has a mouthful of the delicacy before starting her early morning shoots.

Nishita took to her social media handle to express her love for the Assamese snack "tekeli pitha". Nishita shared a photo in her Instagram handle and captioned it as, "Without this breakfast early morning shoots are really not complete.... I guess all my co actresses will agree to this..Yummmmm." 

"Tekeli pitha" are basically Assamese rice cakes. The name "tekeli" comes from the fact that the cakes are made by steaming them in a kettle (tekeli) lid. 

Nishita Goswami is the daughter of National Award winning actress Moloya Goswami. Nishita is recognised by her fans for her memorable performances in the movies “Ratnakar”, “Jilmil Jonak”, “Mone Mur Koina Bisare”, “Mon Jaai”, “Adhinayak”, “Suren Suror Putek”, and others.
