Guwahati, June 15: Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio was saddened by the sudden demise of actor Sushant Singh Rajput and remembered the late actor for his generous contribution to the people of Nagaland.

Neiphiu Rio remembered Sushant Singh Rajput with a heartbreaking post on twitter. He shared a picture in his social media handle from 2018 in which Sushant was seen handing over a cheque to the Chief Minister for the affected people of floods and landslides in the state. The post read, “Shocked & saddened to hear about the untimely demise of Sushant Singh Rajput. He personally handed over a cheque to me when Nagaland was affected by floods & landslides in 2018. His love & generous contribution to the people of Nagaland will always be remembered. May his soul RIP.”
