Guwahati, June 17: The government of Meghalaya announced the reopening of restaurants, cafes, food outlets, salons and beauty parlours from June 22.
However, the government informed that eateries along the national highways will continue to remain closed. The DCs will also ensure strict compliance to all protocols and guidelibes laid down by the Minsistry of Home Affairs and Minsitry of Health and Family welfare regarding the opening of shops and parlours.
The Deputy Commissioners will regulate the schedule and timing of operations . The activities and number of shops to be opened may also be restricted depending on the local situation.
Presently, the total number of coronavirus cases in the state stands at 43 and out of which 10 are active cases.
