Guwahati, June 30: Bollywood Singer Angarag Papon Mahanta appreciated the flood relief initiative organised by Earthful foundation, a non-profit organisation from Guwahati to help the flood victims of Assam.

Papon prayed for the well-being of the people in flood-hit areas and hoped that the floods to not be as devastating this year.
'Assam starts its annual flood ordeal again! With much limitations due to the pandemic we at @Earthful_foundation distributed flood preparatory kits a few days back in a couple of villages. Hope it helps the villagers & praying for the floods to not be as devastating this year. P.S. - happy to see the concern of few people about use of plastic and this plastic bag. Infact that is one area we strongly work on. But here the purpose of using this plastic ‘kit’ was to provide the villagers, in these wet flood situations, with a kit which they can use year after year, to safe keep their essentials and better prepare for the floods, ' Papon tweeted.
