Barsha Rani pays tribute to Bollywood’s ace choreographer Saroj Khan

Guwahati, July 3: Assamese actor Barsha Rani Bisahaya today paid a heartfelt tribute to late choreographer Saroj Khan with an endearing throwback picture when she joined the dance academy of the late choreographer.
Barsha shared a picture of her with Saroj Khan in her Instagram handle and wrote, The golden era of Bollywood dancing comes to an end !! Rest in peace dancing queen Saroj ma'am @sarojkhanofficial ! This pic was when I joined her dance academy in Mumbai. Such a beautiful soul she was.’
Known as ‘The Mother of Dance or Choreography in India’, Saroj Khan was credited for choreographing more than 2,000 songs. Her list of credits includes iconic numbers such as 'Dhak Dhak Karne Laga' from Beta (1992), 'Ek Do Teen' from Tezaab (1988), 'Hawa Hawai' from Mr India (1987) and many more.
Saroj Khan was a three-time National Award winner.
Khan died due to a cardiac arrest in the ICU of Mumbai's Guru Nanak Hospital on Friday. She was admitted to the hospital for breathing issues on June 20. She was 71.
