With 93 new cases, Tripura's coronavirus tally reaches 1,441

Guwahati, July 4: Tripura reported 93 new positive cases of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, taking the state tally to 1,441.
"93 people found COVID-19 POSITIVE today out of 1325 samples tested," Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb said tweeted.
The count includes 24 in Dhalai district, 17 in West district, 15 in Gomati district, 13 in North district, 11 in Sepahijala district, 9 in Khowai district, 2 each in Unokoti and South districts.
With the detection of new COVID-19 positive cases, there are at present 1,441 total cases with 231 active cases. As many as 1,199 people have recovered from the disease and the state has witnessed only a single COVID-19 fatality so far, Biplab Deb tweeted.
Meanwhile, 53 COVID-19 patients were discharged on Friday from various District Covid Care Centers after their test results came negative.
