Guwahati, July 9: Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb has asked Congress leader Rahul Gandhi to reveal for what price the villain of Bhopal Gas tragedy Warren Anderson was allowed to leave India.
"Rahul Gandhi ji, Please tell us for what price the Villain of Bhopal Gas tragedy Warren Anderson was allowed to leave India in an Indian chopper escorted by the then PM Rajiv Gandhi," Biplab Deb tweeted.
The Tripura Chief Minister's tweet was in response to Rahul Gandhi's tweet when the latter lashed out at Prime Minister Narendra Modi after Centre's decision to form an inter-ministerial committee to coordinate investigations into Rajiv Gandhi Foundation, Rajiv Gandhi Charitable Trust and Indira Gandhi Memorial Trust for alleged violation of various legal provisions.
"Mr Modi believes the world is like him. He thinks everyone has a price or can be intimidated. He will never understand that those who fight for the truth have no price and cannot be intimidated," RahulGandhi tweeted on Wednesday.
