Social distancing norms thrown into wind at Ganeshguri wholesale market on Sunday afternoon

Guwahati, 5 July: It was terrible atmosphere at Ganeshguri wholesale market of grocery items including much sought- after potato as retailers stormed the market on Sunday afternoon, when lockdown relaxation was granted by the district administration, to buy essentials to replenish their stock. Social distancing norms were thrown into wind even though Guwahati has turned the worst-affected city in the region in respect of COVID-19 pandemic.
