Guwahati, July 7: Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio has greeted the Sumi community of the state on the occasion of Tuluni festival.
"Tuluni greetings to the Sumi community of Nagaland. My best wishes for a bountiful season, peace and well-being of everyone. May the Almighty's protection be upon us so that we can celebrate as a community in the days to come," Rio tweeted.
The Sumi community celebrate Tuluni festival with much fanfare and grandeur. The festival is marked with feasts as it occurs during bountiful season of the year. Rice beer 'Tuluni' is served during the feast which gives the festival its name.
