Assam’s historic temple Shiva Dol declared containment zone

Guwahati, July 22: The historic temple ‘Shiva Dol’ in Assam’s Sivasagar district has been declared as containment zone by the district administration today after a priest was tested positive for COVID-19.

Siva dol is a group of structures comprising of three Hindu temples of Sivadol, Vishnudol and Devidol which is located on the banks of the Sivasagar tank, also known as the Borpukhuri tank, in Sivasagar in Assam.
