'Lipstick Under My Burkha' has changed my life in a beautiful way: Plabita Borthakur

Guwahati, July 21: Film actor and singer Plabita Borthakur today said that the film "Lipstick Under My Burkha" has changed her life in a beautiful way.

Taking to her Instagram handle Plabita posted a throwback picture from the time of the filming of "Lipstick Under My Burkha". She captioned the photo as, "Ek Kiss July!! This day, three years ago, changed my life in a beautiful way. And hopefully, yours too."

"Lipstick Under My Burkha" is a 2016 black comedy film written and directed by Alankrita Shrivastava and produced by Prakash Jha. Plabita plays one of the main protagonists in the film, the other leading protagonists being Ratna Pathak, Konkona Sen Sharma, and Aahana Kumra. Plabita was nominated as the "Most Promising Newcomer- Female" in the 2018 Star Screen Awards.

Born at Duliajan in Assam, Plabita is the sister of actress Parineeta Borthakur and Priyangi Borthakur.
