Guwahati, July 31: At a time when the whole world is in the grip of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Khanapara Covid Care Center in Guwahati has created a lively and joyous environment when the healthcare workers and the patients were seen dancing and singing at the covid care centre creating a moment of joy amid the pandemic.
The healthcare workers and patients at Khanapara Covid Care Center shared a light moment among themselves as they jointly sang and danced to the tunes of superhit Bihu song "Kinu sawonire saala muk oi Deha xir xirai gol moinajaan oi".
Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma took to Twitter to appreciate the positive attitude of healthcare workers and patients. "Our COVID care centres are full of life, Joy and entertainmentt," Himanta tweeted.
Meanwhile, 2112 new COVID cases were detected in Assam out of 41028 tests in last 24 hrs. The total cases in the state has reached 38407 with 27832 recovered cases, 10478 active cases and 94 deaths. As many as 1248 patients were discharged on Thursday.
