Assam CM congratulates Modi on launch of financing facility worth Rs 1 lakh cr

Guwahati, Aug 9: Assam Chief Minister, Sarbananda Sonowal today congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi for launching financing facility worth Rupees 1 lakh crore under Agriculture Infrastructure Fund and releasing benefits under Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojna (PM-KISAN).

Sonowal said that agriculture will play the defining role in shaping a self-reliant India. Multiple initiatives aimed at protecting & empowering the farmers is not only strengthening the rural economy but providing farmers opportunities to script their own stories of success, the Chief Minister further added.

Narendra Modi launched the financing facility of Rs 1 lakh crore under Agriculture Infrastructure Fund and also released the sixth installment of funds under the PM-KISAN scheme via video conferencing today.
